Meet Melanie Williams of Mommy Magick
My name is Melanie Williams and I am true to heart, country girl from a small town in Louisiana. I created Mommy Magick from the process of me healing myself emotionally, physically, and mentally while being a Mom. One of the hardest things to do as a woman was to heal from trauma, domestic abuse, depression, anxiety, and other health concerns as well as overcome addiction and the criminal justice system — all while raising children. Because of the felonies on my background and complications with my last pregnancy, it was a challenge to find employment and I totally lost myself trying to find my way out of a painful past. I reached a point in my life where I needed to pause and set aside time to practice self-care and adress the root of my personal issues and dilemmas. On my own personal journey of healing, I discovered that I wasn’t alone. I learned that a lot of other women were also suffering in silence. This discovery lead to a huge change in my mindset that afforded me this intimate journey that help me create my feminine wellness brand, products, and services. As I touched each part of myself that needed healing, I studied the art of healing for all women and self-actualization. I began to elevate spiritually and with focus and intention I continued to do the inner work. Then, I created a group on Facebook that quickly became a sisterhood and a safe place for women, especially mothers, to be vulnerable and start their own healing journey. Self Love is the foundation for which we build our lives. It sets the tone for our relationships with our children, spouses, siblings, parents, and even our co-workers and business partners. I wanted to help women reconnect with their true, authentic selves, embrace their feminine energy, love themselves deeply, and stand in their own personal power. Soon after starting my FaceBook group, I began creating Holistic Wellness products that promote feminine wellness. I continued my studies and established a product line that would help women who were just like me.
After pregnancy and having children, our bodies go through many changes that affect us emotionally, physically, and mentally. Taking care of yourself is an essential part of taking care of others. The healthier the tree, the better the fruit it can offer. Womanhood, Motherhood is a gift and I am so grateful that my path lead me here to do this work.
The road has not been smooth. One of my struggles was time management and being able to limit my distractions. As a Mom of 6 children ranging from 3-18 (including a set of twins), being a Wife, and Entrepreneur, I quickly learned how important it was to find a healthy balance. Often times I would struggle to make time to focus on myself as a woman and business owner. I also struggled at times to maintain self worth in relationship to being a mom and an entrepreneur. This business has allowed me to recognize my value and confidence in my abilities. I love what I do!

With continuous studies in holistic health, reproductive health, tantric sexuality, Kama sutra and herbalism, I have been able to assist women of all backgrounds. Through trial, error, and success, life has been my greatest teacher. My products are created specifically centered around making women feel better. For instance, my best selling Feminine Wash is a 100% organic, plant-based product uniquely made to make women feel clean, comforted and healed in their most sensitive areas. As a company, what I’m most proud of, is the sisterhood and connections that have been created as a result of my products. I love being able to reach the center of a woman and create a real healing and luxurious experience. What sets my product line apart is the purity and quality that goes into my creation, along with the excellence in brand experience and integrity! I’ve also heard that my customer service is impeccable. I must admit every day that I awake I’m thinking “ How can I make my customer experience better?”.
In the future I plan to continue to expand and grow. Most of the time I really try to plan things out, however, it seems that life has its own intentions. My vision is so much bigger than just me. I would like to expand my services and product line and offer holistic alternatives that women need to feel and be better. I want to have a larger platform to be of service. I am currently in the midst of creating a subscription box. I am all about ease of service. Women will be able to order and forget about it! As women and as mothers, we have so many things to think about. My major hope is to break ground and open a full service luxury V-Spa. I would also like to be picked up by a major retailers like Target, Walmart and CVS.
Success for me is growth and fully walking in my purpose. It is consistently inspiring others and connecting with them in the most authentic way. One of the greatest indicators of success is receiving messages from beautiful women from all over the nation sharing their stories and saying how much my product/services have helped them. Having the ability to show up in my wholeness and serve my clients with excellence and integrity everyday is a humbling experience that i don’t take for granted.
