Meet Meghan & Chelsea Coffey & Minidis of Curate by MC
We are long time friends that have always shared a love for all things fashion, home, and beauty. We were looking for a way to keep our lives and minds organized, as well as a career that was both fulfilling and creative. With Meghan’s background in Interior Design and Chelsea’s in Fashion, we found a way to combine the two and the idea of Curate was born. We started by reaching out to previous clients from our past industries and from there it has flourished through word of mouth and the power of social media.
For the most part yes. In the beginning, we were a little intimidated to reach out to past clients because we had a hard time selling ourselves.
Once we booked our first job and saw how much joy it brought our clients when we were finished it was extremely rewarding and gave us a huge confidence boost. At each job we’ve learned something new since every space we walk into is so different. It has taught us better ways to be prepared, to always come in with more supplies than we think we need, and to be adaptable in different situations.
Curate by MC is a home organizing business. We come into client’s home and help them sort through the clutter and give them the tools they need to live and maintain an organized life. We initially thought that we were going to be specializing in closets and wardrobe, but it has turned into organizing every room in the home from the office to the medicine cabinets.
As a company, we are most proud of the state of peace what we do brings to a household. We put systems in place that our clients can easily maintain, and we love hearing from our past clients that they are keeping it up and the difference it has made in their lives. Having things organized creates a sense of ease in a home and allows for mental clarity, reduced stress, and the ability to relax in your space.
For us, success comes from the gratifying feeling we get when we know that our clients are happy. We understand and believe completely in how much an organized home can change lives and we want to give that to as many people as possible! There is a sense of relief and ease that we can see and feel after a job is completed, honestly a smile on our clients’ face is the ultimate indicator of success.
