Meet Elizabeth W of The Wandering Wolf Imagery
I’ve always had a thing for photography. I cannot remember a time in my life where I didn’t have a camera of some sort in my possession. According to my parents, I have always had an eye for capturing the most beautiful images and would buy me those disposable cameras anytime I used one up. Eventually they bought me a digital camera and my passion grew rapidly.
Comparing myself and my work to others is something I struggle with on the daily. Trying to reach my goals and finding my ideal client has been such a tough task!
To create a story and capture real life emotion is my true goal.
Telling a couple’s story through images is, hands down, the most rewarding part of being a couples photographer! Getting to know my couples by asking the questions or having them engage in prompts and seeing their reactions creates the most unique, meaningful images.
Unposed poses.
Having my couples stand a certain way, then asking them a questions like “Where did you two meet?” or asking one of them to whisper their favorite cereal into the other one’s ear using their best Batman voice are just some examples of my favorite ways to get those one-of-a-kind smiles.
Candid laughing shots where their cheeks start to hurt from smiling so much and my absolute favorites.
Give me all the scrunched nose, laughing pictures!
If you have discovered and expressed your whole self within your work and are truly happy with yourself and what goals you have reached, you have finally achieved success.
