Meet Bella Licciardi of Mom Mob
When I became pregnant with my son, Gunner – there were groups for women who had children, but all they consisted of were formula, breastfeeding, diaper brand preferences, etc. but none of them really dug into the true hurdles and difficulties of being a parent. Especially being a minority. I was exhausted with seeing mother’s suffering from situational poverty, relying solely on government assistance & also the utter lack of having a village / sisterhood that you could have at arms reach. I wanted less talking, and more action.
It hasn’t always been a smooth road, but it has always been rewarding. I think often people on the outside believe that we’re just a group of mothers on a social media platform. That couldn’t be furthest from the truth. We are so much more than what meets the eye. The women in Mom Mob have become a sisterhood, a community that can be relied on, and is accessible to any woman that is a mother; regardless of how they made it to this journey. It’s hard facilitating a group of THOUSANDS of individuals who need you. The biggest struggle is trying to make finances stretch so we can accommodate every Mob Mom. We’ve since become a 501(c)(3) with hopes that we can obtain more opportunities to spread the word about who we are, all the amazing things we’ve done as a community, and the bigger things we’d like to achieve to better our community.
Mom Mob Worldwide is most known for helping one another, and How we protect our sisterhood at all costs.
We are so different from other Mom groups because we take action. We jump in and are our own village. We create that support system for each other even if it’s non existent in a moms family dynamic.
I am so proud of all of the women in my group. They’re powerful, strong, humble & resilient QUEENS!
Success to me is when you can provide a platform and opportunity to put others in a position to win.
My moms have that. And there’s no other competition. They’re solid!
