Meet Tim Realbuto
My mother filled my world with music and the arts when I was a kid. Symphonic music. Classical music. Broadway music. I did my first show (“The Music Man”) when I was five years old and I was completely hooked. I never stopped and I’m 35 years old now.
I had eight callbacks for the musical “Rent” on Broadway. I never got that job. It’s been a rough road, but when the road suddenly smooth out, it’s all worth it!
I started with musical theatre, moved onto plays, then I did some writing, then I did some concert work, and now I’m strictly doing film and television. But if the stage ever calls, I will be right back. The stage will always be my favorite medium. I think what sets me apart is that I’m as comfortable on stage in front of 1,000 people as I am in front of a camera with one little lens. And I know how to do both art forms, because they are both completely different beasts.
To me, success is not at all about fame and fortune. Success is about being happy in the work that you do. Success is about being proud of every project that you sign onto. As long as you are doing your very best and proud of the work that you are doing, then you have made it! Truly!
