Lifelong entrepreneur. Started New Venture Escrow almost 10 years ago with the idea to change how buyers and sellers experience a 30 day contract period before buying or selling a home. We have built a culture around celebrating, fun, technology, innovation, and health and wellness. We have grown from $0 revenue to over 10M in that time.
Owning a business will always have ups/downs. We have mitigated the down by hiring and retaining great people. A struggle along the way was when we were 1-2 years old and had no name (brand). We struggled to get clients and employees.
I started to really do things different with recruiting, and our sales process to add more dynamic energy. It worked.
We are technically an escrow company. I say, as an escrow company, we help people make one of the largest purchases or sales of their lifetime. We are also a company based on innovation. We take a stale industry and innovate tech around it. Web apps, esign, proprietary insurance and protection are what we are known for.
I love leadership. I am the chief energy officer and look for people that will match my excitement for everything they do.
I can train for every skill except that. I look for a passion and enthusiasm in someones demeanor. How excited are they to be alive, learn, grow, and be part of a winning team?
