I grew up in San Diego California in a small section known as Lil Afrika. Sex, guns and murder you name it I seen it, I lived it.
I started out Djing parties back in the mid 90’s for local cliques then ventured into battling, The art of scratching, beat juggling and mixing fascinated me to where it consumed my life, I would be in my bedroom with the homies for hours just mixing and scratching, coming up with battle routines. Eventually I started making the transition into music production and song writing. Creative writing was something I was always good at and when you write from the heart, from your experiences it broadens the way you think and the way you express your experiences whether they be positive or negative life changing experiences.
It has definitely been far from a smooth ride, with the loss of my brother, cousin and grandmothers all within a short period it took a toll on me mentally, but through self perseverance, focus and determination I found my way over and around the obstacles that have presented themselves.
I co own an independent label “Wealth Rok Music” and a clothing line “Wealthy Lifestyle Clothing” I primarily specialize in music production and song writing although I can be considered a “Jack of all trades” type. I reflect back on what we have accomplished as a team, as a new label and the progress that has been made in such a short time it adds fuel to a fire that has been lit and will not burn out, Wealth Rok as a label we set ourselves apart from the rest based on our originality alone, the elements we combine to each record we create and our determination to succeed and execute each vision.
My definition of success is measured on accomplishments, establishment, Investments and security.
True success you have true freedom from any financial or personal burdens.
