Meet Dafna Revah of CBD Kratom
In 2013, we opened a traditional smoke shop in St. Louis, MO. After that, we began attending various trade shows and learning more about CBD and Kratom products. At the same time, customers were coming into our store and asking if we carried the products. Due to customer demand, we began selling these products in our store in 2014. Customers would continuously return and tell us how these products were positively changing their lives. Even close friends and family who were suffering from pain, anxiety and other ailments became increasingly excited about the benefits they saw when using CBD and Kratom products. Because the products varied so dramatically, we opened our first CBD Kratom to house the CBD and Kratom products in 2016 in Bucktown, Chicago. The company grew from there, and we have gone from one location to over 30 in Dallas, Chicago, St. Louis and Houston.
There are always going to be struggles when starting, maintaining and growing a new business. It was and continues to be our top priority to ensure our customers have access to a wide variety of high quality products, which sometimes involves the need to implement quick changes, especially in the areas of supply and manufacturing. Recently, due to COVID-19 and the Shelter in Place orders, we had to close most of our stores. So we are moving quickly and setting up systems to ensure our customers are still getting access to the products they need. One of them is a consultation feature where we are offering customers an opportunity to book a 15 minute appointment with one of our experts to learn more about CBD and Kratom and our products to ensure they get the best products for their needs.
As for products, we specialize in selling high quality CBD and Kratom products. On a deeper level, we are committed to helping customers lead healthy and fulfilling lives. Early on, when we began hearing and seeing first-hand how much the products were helping our customers, we knew we had a responsibility to continue to not only deliver high quality products but to do so in a welcoming and education-driven environment where people feel comfortable.
What are you known for? We are known for several things, including our large product selection (over 300 products), our knowledgeable staff, our welcoming environment, and our customer service. We are also advocates for innovation and ethics in the CBD and Kratom industries.
What are you most proud of: We are most proud of our ability to help others. Secondly, we take pride in our ability to be versatile, whether adapting to consumer demand, the public’s desire for more information or ensuring all of our employees receive proper and ongoing training to provide the best service.
What sets you apart? We are the largest privately-owned CBD and Kratom retailer in the U.S. This is extremely important to us because we can guarantee you will receive the same quality products in the same store environment no matter which store or city you are in. We were also the first retail location in the U.S. dedicated solely to CBD and Kratom.
I always try to look at success in pieces. It’s never going to be “I’m successful when I get X.” For me, it’s always going to be in steps or increments. There’s always something more that we can learn and achieve in a day. If I feel like I’m learning something or making processes to help our company, products and employees on a daily basis, then I’d consider that day successful. There are always times where you feel more successful than others, but I have learned it’s important to make sure, overall, the more successful days outnumber the less successful days.
