Meet Fitch Means
I started writing music and experimenting with different sounds when I was about 12 years old. My mom and grandparents got me a set of drums and I would sit in front of MTV all day creating beats. I started performing once I got into middle school. I had many solo performances and used those to also work on my singing and harmonizing.
My first release was during my first year of college. I went to the studio and recording this rnb song and mixed it with pop elements. Once I dropped on SoundCloud, boom the song was a hit.
As an artist there is always the struggle to be seen, a struggle to be heard. But they aren’t ones that can’t be overcome. I always tell artist that I come across on my journey to enjoy the music. Enjoy life and everything it offers! When life give you pain then you take that and put it into a song. It’s the rawest form of music that we can give to any listener.
I’m know for my songwriting and range. What sets me a part from everyone else is I’m not creating music. I’m creating an experience. Some where to live when your heart is broken, a place to vacation when your feeling good. That’s the print I aim to Leave on my fans.
Success is being happy doing what you love. As time goes on I’d like to still be releasing music, touring, and staying in the studio. Those are my happy places and where I feel most successful. I love doing what I do because of the different people I come across. So many shared experiences all packed into 3 minutes or so.
