Meet Hailey Ralston
It all started when my parents put me in all types of dance classes at the age of 2 1/2, but when my parents discovered that I could sing at age 8, they put me in private voice lessons and in a choir called Young Voices of the Carolinas, directed by Sandy Holland. I went on many tours with that choir and had the pleasure of performing at Carnegie Hall in New York City. Years later, I was put into theater classes which led me to participate in musicals at local studios and theaters. Ever since then, I have enjoyed doing musical theater as my major at Northwest School of The Arts, but my true passion is film acting and writing music on the side! In 2019, I started my film acting career when I was asked to be in a short film at UNCSA. Since then, I have been in many films, a few TV shows, and a movie. As for writing music, it has been a passion of mine since age 10. I am currently trying to expand and get deeper into my career in the entertainment industry.
It has not been an easy road to get to where I am today because I had to learn to accept my own mistakes and failures. Another reason it has been difficult is because I have had to miss a lot of school and make a lot of hard choices regarding my personal and career life.
I am a 16 year old actress actively trying to get my name recognized in the entertainment industry. I am proud that I have had the chance to work with many big actors and actresses who have inspired me to continue perusing this career path. The thing that sets me apart from others is that I try not to let others in the entertainment industry influence my acting choices. I aspire to be my own person and be known for my original acting choices.
In my opinion, if you achieve your personal goals and you are happy doing what you’re doing, then no one can tell you that you are unsuccessful. Success, to me, is measured not in money or fame, but is measured through the pleasure you receive in the life choices you make.
