Meet Kristina Uriegas-Reyes of Hello Tallulah
Before opening the shop, I spent seven years in New York City, writing and working with small businesses though social media. I have a background in retail, specializing in vintage and consignment. A blogger turned entrepreneur, I left NYC to return to my hometown of San Antonio, TX. I decided to follow my ultimate dream of opening this very special boutique.
With countless pop-ups under my belt, I longed for a space I could mold into the ultimate happy place. I want customers to walk in and feel excited to express themselves though fashion so I created the wonderland of whimsy that is Hello Tallulah.
The company name came from my adorable pup, Tallulah, who was a very special part of my family. Tallulah passed away in October 2018, but the name still evokes the quirky charm of her daily greeting.
Hello Tallulah’s collection of vintage clothing is highly curated. I want to make vintage feel special, but accessible. I specializes in gorgeous vintage clothing from the 1950’s-1970’s with an emphasis on fun and colorful dresses! As a body positivity advocate and a former plus-size model, sizing is at the forefront of my mind as I curate my collection. It is important that I carry a variety of sizes. Everyone should have the opportunity to feel fabulous in something unique.
I hope I can provide a whimsical place for people to express themselves through fashion. Success means something different for everyone and as long as a business is growing, then that is a success. Hopefully Hello Tallulah keeps growing into its third year! I want everyone to leave happy and for my size range to keep expanding.
