I have always explored in the kitchen but back in 2016 I was over weight borderline,, high blood pleasure sugar diabetes and sleep apnea Disorder. I was Depressed and wanted a change. I started cooking in walking almost Every day for 90 days straight. I lost 80lbs , I started getting DM’s from friends family, strange asking for ideals or recipe. August of 2019 was the dayThanking Jesus for giving me the HEART to quit my job and step out on Faith to start my Own Catering Business/ Personal Chef/ Meal Prep✊🏾 Over this Past Labor Day Week I was giving the opportunity to go and Cater for a Family 1 year old Birthday Party. Grateful in Nervous all at the same time , knowing that I’m from Los Angeles but Traveling to Brooklyn New York to cook for over 100 people and it wasn’t just Taco’s 🤷🏾♀️
Absolutely not, back in October 25th of 2019 I had to close @La’cookz is Closed for Street Vending 🤷🏾♀️ The fact that these 3 people jumped out the car and ran As they watched me laying on the ground is sad ASF🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 But God had me and saw me through. Thank you to all my Customers that pulled up on me to make sure I was okay✊🏾
Taco’s & Fully LOADED QUESADILLAS are my specialty I had Medical Taco’s that I cook at the Sesh in the IE. Also my Fried Fish and Lobster Rolls. When it comes to our portions, I give the people what they want. Let just say @lacookz is not selfish
Right now I enjoy Catering Private Events, Birthday Parties, Weddings, Babyshowers, Club Events in Festivals. I try to Travel 1-2 a Year. This Year we will be headed to the Cali Picnic Festival in Atlanta George.
