Meet Lauren Daniels of Lulu’s Everyday Life
I’ve loved photography and traveling my entire life. When I got my first camera, I didn’t put it down all day! I took pictures of anything and everything! In high school I realized I wanted to combine my love for travel and photography, so I created Lulu’s Everyday Life. It started out as an Instagram page, but now I also have a website featuring a travel blog and photography portfolio. Only my family and friends followed my page at first, but it grew over time and now I interact with followers and other travel bloggers all over the world!
While I love updating content on Lulu’s Everyday Life, it isn’t my only priority. I am also currently a university student planning to attend graduate school, receive a doctorate, and become an audiologist! I try to travel, improve my photography, and update my blog as much as possible during my breaks from school.
It has definitely not been a smooth road, but I believe that no one experiences a smooth road. First of all, university is not easy. I work really hard in school so I can achieve my dreams of becoming an audiologist. Because of that, I don’t have as much time to update my blog and I’m not able to travel or take pictures as often as I would like. On top of that, there have been several times that I had to remind myself why I even have the blog. Not only do I love travel and photography and love talking about them, I also enjoy sharing all my travel tips and experiences, and sharing the beauty of places around the world through photos.
I define success as happily achieving your goals/dreams. In my opinion, you won’t be successful if you aren’t happy. You may achieve a goal, but it isn’t worth it if you aren’t enjoying the work it took to reach the goal.
