Meet Melisande Martin
I started as a small 16-year-old with no musical talent. I saw these amazing artists connect with their fans and I wanted to be apart of that. I looked up ways to go on tour with bands. in that, I found music photography. from there I used my dad’s old camera and just started asking bands to shoot them. 4 years later I’ve been on 3 tours and about to go one my 4th with Buddha Trixie supporting The Frights
It certainly has not been a smooth road. I had many of no’s which caused breakdowns, I have had my passes missing, and people not taking me seriously. all these struggles make the yes’s and the accomplishments so much more rewarding.
My business is proving content for musicians. this can range from portraits to touring. I am a touring music photographer/videographer. I’m most proud of capturing the moments that people want forever. I believe what sets me apart from others is my personality and as a former fan, I know exactly what not only the bands want but the fans as well.
Personally, success can mean anything. I see it as happiness. if you are happy doing what you do and where you are at that success. Each accomplishment I make a new goal. for example, as 2020 goes on my goal is to be on a bus tour or a full US tour.
