Meet Trevell Franklin of Only1Tipy LLC
I’ve been doing music for over 15 years now. I started with rewriting major artist lyrics to their songs. I remember writing my first song in 5th grade and the rest was history. I always took Music very serious where many of my friends stopped making music throughout the years. I’ve been blessed to work with a lot of great musicians throughout the years. I never let my reality dictate my dreams. I’ve always put my dreams first.
I’ve definitely struggled along the way ALOT. From having artist turn their backs on me to false promises. To the hardest let down the non support of the ones you know and love. I honestly had so many set back I thought about quitting a lot. But something in me wouldn’t allow me to give up so easy. I believe when you quit is when you lose. As long as you never quit your always in the race. But the same things that let me down kind of fueled me to keep going. I’ve always felt I had something to prove to people who never seen or supported the vision. Some people want you to fail so they can say I told you so. Well I’m one person they won’t be able to say that to.
Well I am a songwriter and musician. I’ve worked with some of musics heavy hitters like Quentin Miller, TJ Freeway, J. Reid, Jae Mazor, Jase from the chart topping group Soul For Real, Dreek Beats, Freebandz, 808 mafia, slip n slide records, Poe boy ENT, drakes label Ovo records, as well as Nipsey hussle label ALL MONEY IN and DJ VIP just to name a few.
My success is defined by how many people i touch with my music. I want to be the soundtrack to your life and what you maybe going through at the time. Yes I’d love to sell millions of records but as long as my music impact people in a positive way I feel I’ve done my job. I want to be remembered as someone who never took no as an answer. Someone who pushed through all the non support the criticism and the hate. I’ve always felt no one Can tell me how to live my life because we are all in the same race together. How can you know what’s best for me when you don’t know what’s best for yourself. I’ll always keep my head up and stay focused no matter what.
