Meet Yana Tammah of SSTAGIONI

It all started when I first talked to my mother about my future career. Originally, she wanted me to become a lawyer because it was a popular job back in the day, but my mind and my soul told me otherwise, I wanted to become a beauty expert. Soon after, I opened a few salons of my own in Russia and even worked in television and film industry, but I didn’t stop just there, I dreamt bigger, I wanted to work with Hollywood celebrities. After leaving everything behind, I finally moved to Los Angeles and in 2017, I opened my SSTAGIONI beauty studio in the heart of Hollywood. I have become a platform artist and an educator for many brands and have been working with celebrities ever since. To this day, I enjoy making people happy and help them in any way I can when they have hair problems. I’m so glad that I never gave up on my goal because I couldn’t have imagined of how my life would turn out, if I didn’t pursue my life dream. However, this is just the beginning, I have yet to open my very own advanced academy for future hair dressers and make up artists.

Yes, there were lots of ups and downs along the way. For the most part, things are positively moving forward. Don’t get me wrong, they’re have been numerous times when I wanted to give up, and just learning how to speak English correctly is still challenging for me. I’ve also learned not to surround myself with anything negative including family and friends. I refuse to be dragged down, or bullied by anyone trying to prevent me from obtaining My Life Goals, and I will not quit dreaming until I achieve them! Yes, I was raised w/ a Eastern European background(Russian)which gave me my unique outstanding personality and style. That difference may look odd to some, but it’s really one of my strengths. Mixing what was for me there, with what I have learned here creates an even better version of what I can design now.
Yes I know not everything will be liked, and that’s where fear lives, but it starts with Me 1st. I get to create on real live canvases weather its hair or skin, and hope people like what I enjoy doing and pray they keep coming back for more…!
So just start be afraid to start yes there will be moments in your journey when you’ll feel like giving up but please, PLEASE, don’t, if you intend to do something, finish it, even if your chances are Everything happens for a reason, every small talk and every step that you take in your career, now it’s your choice if you will either take that opportunity or play it safe.
